Shiva Skunk Redux v2
Version 2 Shiva Skunk Redux using the Skunk#18 “Skunkbud” male Selections. 89′ Northern Lights #5 x Skunk#18.
89′ Northern Lights #5– Highland Thai x Afghani Worked line. unique forward facing leafset, build is inward and extremely branchy and flower is an absolute dream, being not 100% indica makes for some aggressive flower performance. One very aggressive looking leatherbound monster. She matches up to many of the folks descriptions and shots who keep her about. an absolute frost monster. Terpenes on ammoniated chemical with a slight lemon citrus finish and then shes all acrid spice to finish it off, taste really is acrid as well.
Heavy smoke with good expansion, feel it in your entire body. And one amazing plant to bring back to the old skunk line. A good 10 week flower. Node spacing is average. Calyx to leaf ratio is low.
Expect Compact plants with heavy flower and trichome production. There is a funk side to the Shiva Skunk Redux i have found to hold extremely unique cultivars with tons of skunk trait, these are highly chemical, Animal Musk, Horseradish burn and Shit smells, but still with touches of citrus.
And there is a traditional Shiva side that is heavy on the Sour apple and Creamy goodness smells just like the Shiva I have had in the past. This side is heavier Yield and preferred by some. i prefer the funk side as the flower quality and the effect are much higher and brighter. These are extremely vigorous plants that need little to no maintenance. pest and mold resistance is high. Flower onset is Heavy with a 8to10wk flower times.
Hit to the two rank Skunk#18 studs I expect all flower times to be reigned in except in the fastest pairings, all long flowering sativas will be brought down by a week or two off finish, Tighter Flower formations, Enhanced yield, Quality undiminished and of course That rank ‘Skunkbud’ funk. The Skunk will take the front seat in most all pairings and especially in this pollination as i really selected hard for only true Skunkbud individuals. I say in most all pairings that they take over 2/3 pretty easy, but they do let the mom come through pretty damn clean when she shines, even beautiful recessed looks and sometimes all new unexpected flavors are the result. These plants are extremely compact, node spacing is tight so plants will benefit from thinning, training. early topping is recommended unless you would like to grow them monocola in a SOG style setup which is what they are ideal for. extremely powerful branching support Large Afghani style formations.
